Gunman takes hostages at Sacramento Jack in the Box

A gunman who police said took at least two women hostage Saturday while trying to rob a Sacramento Jack in the Box has released one of them, according to local media reports.

The man remains barricaded in the restaurant, the Sacramento Bee reported, where police were first called at 12:32 p.m. Dozens of officers are on scene, as well as a SWAT team and hostage negotiators.
