Crash in Sun Valley leaves one person dead, two injured

One person was killed and two others were in critical condition Saturday night when their vehicle crashed into a wall in Sun Valley, said Erik Scott, a spokesman with the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters responded around 8:21 p.m. to a report of a single-car crash in the 8300 block of La Tuna Canyon Road, he said. One person was found dead inside the Lexus sedan; two others were critically injured and were taken to nearby hospitals, he said.

Further details of the crash, the ages of the victims and their genders were not immediately avaialble.
