Comedian Katt Williams arrested after motorcycle chase

Comedian Katt Williams was arrested in connection with a bizarre police pursuit last month in which he was driving a three-wheel motorcycle in Sacramento.

Williams was arrested Friday night north of Sacramento on a felony warrant related to the November chase, according to the Sacramento Bee. He was released on bail by Saturday night.

The chase followed several interactions between police and the comedian. Authorities originally contacted Williams near the Hyatt along L Street. He was asked to leave when accused of disturbing the peace. He did, but was soon spotted by Capitol Protection Officers.

Williams was allegedly driving a three-wheeled motorcycle on a sidewalk, coming close to hitting pedestrians.

At this point, Capitol Protection officers were flashing their lights for him to stop, according to Fox 40.

Williams then ran several red lights and was not cited, with officers worrying about public safety if they continued the chase, police said.
