Woman stabbed to death in Santa Ana, police say
A woman was stabbed to death Tuesday night in Santa Ana, police said.
The attack took place in an area near North Harbor Boulevard and West 1st Street.
The woman appeared to be in her in teens or early 20s, according to Cpl. Anthony Bertagna of the Santa Ana Police Department.
Investigators were at the scene gathering evidence.
In an unrelated incident, Santa Ana police officers were apparently involved in a shooting late Tuesday in another part of the city, Bertagna said. It was unclear whether anyone was injured. Two possible suspects who may have shot at police were being questioned by investigators.
No other details in either incident were immediately available.
