San Diego man accused of sexually assaulting foreign student

Jason1

A 31-year-old San Diego man has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a foreign exchange student that he befriended through a website meant to help such students practice their English-language skills.

Sex-crime detectives are investigating to determine if there are other victims who met the suspect, Jason Mc Klevey, through the same website, www.conversationexchange.com. The website is used by many foreign students studying in San Diego.

Mc Klevey, who was arrested Nov. 7 and has since posted bail, met numerous female Asian foreign exchange students through the site, according to Lt. Anastasia Smith. Additional victims may be reluctant to contact police, she said.
