Interactive database: How did your precinct vote for president?

Wonder how your precinct voted last week? Los Angeles County voters, you're in luck.

The Times' Data Desk created an interactive map that breaks down the county's presidential vote by precinct. The graphic shows the results where voters cast a ballot in person — which amounted for more than 80% of the 2.3 million votes counted. Not included were about 440,000 provisional ballots and votes cast by mail.

President Obama garnered nearly 1 million more votes over Republican nominee Mitt Romney in L.A. County, but the former Massachusetts governor won several precincts in the northwest part of the county and in Rancho Palos Verdes and Palos Verdes Estates.
