Clogged portion of northbound 710 reopens after big-rig crash
All lanes of the northbound 710 Freeway at Atlantic Boulevard in Vernon have been reopened after a big-rig crash reduced traffic to two lanes for much of Tuesday's early morning commute, CHP officials said.
The big-rig truck crashed and jackknifed over the center divider about 2:25 a.m. after it attempted to avoid a stalled pickup truck, according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident left one person injured and debris on the freeway, the CHP said.
As of 6:40 a.m., all lanes had been reopened, CHP officials said.
