Man is shot to death in South Gate

A man was shot to death Friday afternoon in South Gate.

The shooting occurred about 2:10 p.m. near Wright Road and Imperial Highway, said Deputy Kim Manatt of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.

The victim’s name has not been released. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

No other details were immediately available.
