Earthquake: 3.4 quake strikes near Talmage
A shallow magnitude 3.4 earthquake was reported Tuesday morning seven miles from Talmage, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 5:40 a.m. PST at a depth of 0 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was nine miles from Ukiah, nine miles from Lakeport and 94 miles from Sacramento.
In the past 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
