Earthquake: 3.0 temblor strikes near Upland
A shallow magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported Sunday morning four miles from Upland, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 9:03 a.m. Pacific time.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was six miles from Claremont, six miles from Rancho Cucamonga and 35 miles from Los Angeles Civic Center.
In the past 10 days, there have been two earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
