Man convicted of killing neighbor in feud over lights

A Canyon Country man has been convicted of murdering his next-door neighbor with a shotgun after a feud over the installation of a new light system turned deadly, sheriff's officials said.

A jury found Lennie Paul Tracey, 52, guilty Wednesday of first-degree murder in the September 2011 death of Anthony Jay Davis. Jurors also convicted Tracey on charges of assaulting Davis' wife.

Authorities said an ongoing feud between the two men escalated after Tracey installed infrared lights on his property and pointed them in the direction of Davis' home. After Davis unplugged the lights, the two got into a fight, which ended in the shooting.

Tracey will be back in court in January for sentencing.
