1 dead, 1 wounded in Baldwin Park shooting

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department detectives are assisting an investigation into an early Friday shooting in Baldwin Park that left one man dead and another wounded.

The shooting occurred at 1:06 a.m. in  the 3800 block of Maine Avenue, officials said. Both victims were taken to a hospital, where one man was pronounced dead. The second victim's condition was unknown.

Sheriff’s detectives, who are assisting Baldwin Park police in the investigation, had no further details.
