11 hurt when Sacramento light-rail train collides with big rig

A light-rail train collided with a big rig just before 6 p.m. Saturday in Sacramento, injuring 11 people.

Twenty people on board were being evaluated, with 11 apparently injured. Three people were transported to local hospitals, including the driver of the truck, which was carrying almonds.

All injuries are said to be non-life threatening. The cause is under investigation.
