Missing Ventura County boy found unharmed
Ventura County sheriff's deputies have found a missing 4-year-old boy who had wandered away from his home.
The child, identified as Anthony Arellanes, was found unharmed in a rural area north of Santa Paula about 3:30 p.m. by a sheriff's search team. The boy was dehydrated and was hospitalized as a precaution but was expected to recover.
Authorities were concerned because of the scorching, near-triple-digit temperatures Monday afternoon.
The boy was reported missing about 10 a.m. after playing near his residence on Highway 150 on the outskirts of the city.
