Three teens accused of robbing Lynwood home to face charges

October 11, 2012 |  1:23 pm

Three teenagers accused of robbing a home in Lynwood this week were scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Inglewood Juvenile Court.

The 15-year-old boy, 15-year-old girl and 14-year-old girl were allegedly “seen by witnesses carrying property out of a yard in the 24600 block of Falena Avenue in Lynwood on Monday,” according to a statement from the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

When the witnesses shouted at them to stop, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies reported the three ran away, according to the statement. The names of the three have not been released because they are juveniles.

The 15-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl were detained by authorities, while the 15-year-old girl was given house arrest through the community detention program.

All three face “three felony counts each of first-degree residential burglary and one felony count each of receiving stolen property,” Deputy Dist. Atty. Dara Williams, deputy in charge of the Inglewood Juvenile branch, said in the statement.
