2 injured in shooting at Chino Hills shopping mall
The Shoppes at Chino Hills, an open-air shopping mall in San Bernardino County, will be “closed for an unknown period of time” after a shooting incident Thursday evening, according to San Bernardino County sheriff’s officials.
The shooting occurred near the Drip coffee shop about 7:50 p.m.
Officials said a man was involved in an altercation when the shooting occurred, and two people were shot and injured, officials said.
They were taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton. Their conditions were unknown, authorities said.
Sheriff’s investigators remained at the scene. A motive for the altercation and shooting was unclear Thursday evening.
