Shooting in Pacoima leaves 1 dead, 1 wounded

Authorities Wednesday night were investigating the shooting death of a man and the wounding of a woman in Pacoima.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to the 10000 block of Telfair Avenue near Kamloops Street about 8:25 p.m., Officer Venus Hall said.

A man was found dead and a woman sustained a gunshot wound but was in stable condition.

No suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing. No other details were immediately available.
