Overturned vehicle closes two lanes of 5 Freeway
An overturned vehicle, temporarily trapping motorists, closed two southbound lanes on the 5 Freeway just south of the 14 Freeway, officials said.
Authorities were alerted to a traffic collision at 5:08 p.m., and Los Angeles County and city fire officials arrived at the location. Three people were transported to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, county fire officials said, and their conditions are unknown.
The two southbound lanes on the 5 Freeway will reopen shortly, California Highway Patrol officers said.
