Motorcyclist dies in collision with SUV in Shadow Hills

A man was killed early Monday after his motorcycle collided with a sport utility vehicle in Shadow Hills.

The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Sunland Boulevard and Sunland Park Drive, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Venus Hall.

Hall said the driver of the SUV “negotiated a U-turn and the motorcyclist collided with the rear of the SUV.”

The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead and no arrests were made, though Hall added that the investigation is ongoing.
