October 29, 2012 |  6:46 am

HernandezA 23-year-old man was arrested on murder charges after allegedly running over another man with his car after a fight at a Lynwood party, authorities said.

The suspect, identified as Anthony Hernandez, was being held without bail at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Century station, Lt. Holly Francisco said.

Authorities said Hernandez was at a party Sunday in the 11100 block of Linden Street when he "exchanged words" with the victim, identified by the Los Angeles County coroner's office as Ivan Torres, 25, of Lynwood.

About 4 a.m., Hernandez got in his car and ran over Torres, authorities said. Torres was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Sheriff's Sgt. Pauline Panis said two men were seen driving away in the vehicle, which was last seen heading north on Linden Street. Authorities said early Monday the investigation was ongoing.
