Burbank firefighters find body on freeway offramp

Burbank firefighters found the body of a man Tuesday evening along an off-ramp of the 5 Freeway, authorities said.

The body was found about 6 p.m. after firefighters received a call that a man was down on the Scott Road off-ramp.

Officials said the man was pronounced dead at the scene. No other details were available Tuesday.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office and Burbank police detectives are investigating the death.
