Body found in San Diego River
Lifeguards pulled a body out of the San Diego River hours after it was spotted Monday by a canoeist.
The male body showed no signs of trauma when it was pulled from the river in the Mission Valley area of the city, officials said. The county medical examiner was called to determine the identity and cause of death.
