Managers help arrest theft suspect at erotic boutique

Sacramento County sheriff’s deputies arrested a would-be shoplifter at an erotic boutique with the help of a couple of vigilant store managers.

Tera Coquillette and her husband, both managers at Teaz N Pleaz in Fair Oaks, noticed a man last week they say had stolen from their store before, Fox40 in Sacramento reported.

Coquillette's husband confronted the man with caution, they said, because he had a knife. Meanwhile, Coquillette called 911.

Deputies were eating at a restaurant across the street from the Teaz N Pleaz, so they responded within seconds. Beyond the knife, deputies say the suspect, 26-year-old Adam Lee, had guns and drugs with him; he was booked into Sacramento County Jail.

“I could have used my furry handcuffs to lock him up, but I was too scared to even go back there,” Coquillette said.
