Anaheim police are still looking for suspects in what they believe was a gang-related shootout that killed a 14-year-old boy on Tuesday, officials said.

Officers responded to the 800 block of Claudina Street about 7 p.m. after they received several calls about a shooting in an alley, Anaheim police Sgt. Bob Dunn said. When police arrived, they found the teenager on nearby Vermont Avenue with at least one gunshot wound.

Paramedics pronounced the teenager dead at the scene, Dunn said. His name has not been released, pending notification of relatives.

Dunn described the victim as a documented gang member and said a handgun was found near his body. No arrests have been made, he said.
