Crash slows traffic on eastbound 101 Freeway in Studio City

The morning commute was slow going Tuesday morning on the eastbound 101 Freeway just west of the 134 Freeway at Laurel Canyon Boulevard because of a collision that temporarily blocked two lanes, authorities said.

All lanes of the eastbound 101 Freeway were reopened after 6:30 a.m., but traffic was still backed up in the Laurel Canyon Boulevard area.

Two lanes of the eastbound freeway had been closed following the 5:21 a.m. crash in Studio City. No details were available on what happened, California Highway Patrol officials said.

The crash was being investigated.
