Los Angeles police discovered the bodies of a man and a woman Wednesday morning in Los Feliz after reports of a fight in the area.

Police first received calls around 10:40 a.m. of a fight  in the 3600 block of Lowry Road. When they arrived, officers discovered two assault victims who described their assailant, police said.

Officers then found a man matching the description lying on the ground nearby. Officer Wendy Reyes said the man had died from a fall, although she was unsure what the man had fallen from.

Officers searched a nearby house and discovered the body of a woman. It is unclear what she died from, Reyes said.

The assault victims were treated at a nearby hospital.
