San Diego man dies in fireworks explosion

A 20-year-old San Diego man has died of injuries suffered in a fireworks explosion in Riverside County, according to the county coroner.

William Calabrese, a student at UC Santa Barbara, was preparing a fireworks demonstration in Wildomar Friday for a Lake Elsinore Storm minor league baseball game. He was burned over 90% of his body when the fireworks exploded, according to the Riverside Press-Enterprise.

Two other peoples were also injured, and a truck was destroyed.

Calabrese died Sunday at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton. The incident is under investigation.
