Person fatally shoots self on golf course at Camp Pendleton

Agents were probing the case of a person found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on the golf course at Camp Pendleton, Marine officials said Tuesday.

The course has been closed because of the investigation by Naval Criminal Investigative Services, officials said.

The person who died was not active-duty military, officials said. No further details were immediately available.
