Overturned semi-truck closes 91 Freeway ramp in Carson
Emergency crews were working Monday to clear an overturned semi-truck from a 91 Freeway offramp in Carson, the California Highway Patrol said.
The truck toppled just before 12:45 a.m. at the Avalon Boulevard offramp on the westbound side of the roadway, according to CHP Officer Patrick Kimball. The driver of the truck complained of pain and was taken to an area hospital, but no other injuries were reported, he said.
The incident shut down the ramp, which will likely be closed until about 7 a.m., Kimball said.
