Miley Cyrus intruder arrested at her home claimed to know star

Intruder Arrested at Miley Cyrus's Studio City Home

The man found hiding in the bushes of Miley Cyrus' Studio City home Saturday morning could face charges this week.

The suspect was held on suspicion of burglary, police said.

Officers responded to a radio call of a prowler at the residence, LAPD Deputy Chief Jorge Villegas said. Upon seeing the officers, the man fled and hid in some bushes, where officers apprehended him, he said.

KTLA caught the arrest on video. When being arrested, he said: "I am a friend of Miley Cyrus. I am. She's my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years."

The man, who identified himself as Jason Luis Rivera, had a pair of scissors when he was apprehended, officials said.

KTLA reported that Cyrus was not home at the time.
