Miley Cyrus' alleged intruder could faces charges soon

Intruder Arrested at Miley Cyrus's Studio City Home

The man allegedly found hiding in the bushes of singer-actress Miley Cyrus' Studio City home Saturday morning could be criminally charged in the coming days.

The suspect is being held on suspicion of burglary, police said.

Officers responded to a radio call of a prowler at the residence, LAPD Deputy Chief Jorge Villegas said. Upon seeing the officers, the man fled and hid in some bushes, where officers apprehended him, Villegas said.

KTLA caught the arrest on video. While being arrested, he said: "I am a friend of Miley Cyrus. I am. She's my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years."

The man, who identified himself as Jason Luis Rivera, had a pair of scissors when he was apprehended, officials said.

KTLA reported that Cyrus was not home at the time.
