Metrolink train service from San Bernardino will be shut down until about 7:30 a.m. after a train hit a person on the tracks near Upland, agency officials said Monday.

Passengers on train 301 are being transported to their destinations via bus, officials said, but Metrolink also announced it was having trouble finding enough buses to service all passengers.

It urged commuters to find other modes of transportation until the problem could be resolved.

No further details were available early Monday.
