LAPD chasing suspect in and around downtown L.A.

The Los Angeles Police Department was involved in a vehicle pursuit west of downtown Los Angeles of a suspect who officials said might be armed.

The chase began near Echo Park and meandered through downtown L.A. and back into the Westlake District. The driver is going at moderate speeds in a white Honda. The LAPD told The Times the driver might be murder suspect.     

According to KTLA News, the suspect might be armed with a weapon.

Video from KTLA showed the driver weaving through traffic, mostly on side streets.
