A Los Angeles youth pastor has been arrested and charged with committing lewd acts on a 15-year-old in San Bernardino.

Rene Andrade, 43, was being held in San Bernardino County Jail as police continued their investigation.

The alleged victim met Andrade at church, and they communicated by cellphones and Facebook, according to a San Bernardino Police Department statement. On a previous occasion, the suspect drove to San Bernardino and engaged in sexual activity with the minor, police said.

On Tuesday, the suspect traveled to San Bernardino to meet with the victim again and was arrested, police said. Police did not name the church where Andrade worked.

Police are asking any other possible victims to contact them at (909) 384-5742.
