Man barricaded inside El Segundo home after family disturbance
Police officers late Thursday afternoon were talking to a man who had barricaded himself in a home on the 1400 block of East Mariposa Avenue in El Segundo after a family disturbance.
El Segundo Police Lt. Raymond Garcia said the man is the only person in the house and that there are no hostages. No one has been injured, he added.
Police were called to the scene about 4 p.m., Garcia said.
“We’re going to stay as long as we have to,” he said. “We’re hoping he comes out peacefully.”
