Brush fire burns 300 acres in eastern San Diego County

A brush fire has burned 300 acres near the eastern San Diego County community of Campo, the California Department of Forestry and Fire reported Sunday afternoon.

Some evacuations have been ordered in the sparsely populated region. An evacuation center has been established at the Acorn Casino.
