4 Blue Line train riders suffer minor injuries in collision with car
Four passengers on a Metro Blue Line train received minor injuries Friday when it collided with a car at Broadway and Washington Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles, L.A. city fire officials said.
Paramedics responded to the scene and treated the injured as the collision shut down service shortly before 1 p.m., officials said
It is the second Blue Line collision in less than three weeks. On Aug. 27, 32 people suffered mostly minor injuries after a Metro Blue line train and a transit bus collided near downtown Los Angeles.
After the August collision, the Line 51 bus, which goes from downtown Los Angeles to Artesia, caused a traffic signal to topple over, officials said.
