Beverly Hills police search for thief in business burglaries

Beverly Hills police are searching for the suspected thief in a rash of commercial burglaries early Sunday.

Eight locations were burglarized on Wilshire and Olympic Boulevards from 4 to 6 a.m., police said. The businesses included a florist, a cleaners, a bakery and a shoe repair shop.

All of the shops were closed at the time. One person is believed to be responsible for the crimes, which involved smashing windows and glass doors.
