2-year-old boy kidnapped in Rialto; Amber Alert issued
Rialto police issued an Amber Alert on Wednesday after a 2-year-old boy was allegedly abducted by his mother and a friend during a supervised visit.
Elijah Cardenas was taken by Stacey Nicole Patterson during the visit at a McDonald's in Rialto with her two children, a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old, according to police.
Patterson fled with Elijah while a Child Protective Services worker was taking the other child out of a vehicle, the Rialto Police Department said.
She was seen fleeing with the child and a man in a black Dodge Ram with a California license plate number 7N59099.
Patterson is described as white female, 5 feet, 5 inches tall with brown hair and green eyes, police said. Elijah is 2 feet, 6 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes.
