2 children critically injured by hit-and-run driver

Two children were struck and critically injured Friday night by a hit-and-run driver in Glassell Park.

The incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of San Fernando Road and Hallett Avenue, said LAPD Officer Cleon Joseph.

Both children were taken to a trauma center.

The car involved was described only as a gray Dodge.
