Sheriff's deputy shoots, wounds man in Palmdale

A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy shot and wounded a man Friday evening in Palmdale, authorities said.

The shooting was reported at about 6 p.m. near the 38800 block of Larkin Avenue, according to a sheriff’s news release. No deputies were injured.

Sheriff’s officials have not released any more information about the shooting.
