Seal pup makes debut at Aquarium of the Pacific

Seal-pup

Bixby, the first seal pup born at the Aquarium of the Pacific, was moved to her permanent home in the seal and sea lion exhibit Tuesday morning. Making her public debut, Bixby is 4 months old and weighs about 50 pounds. Above, Michele Momita, 9, of Torrance, takes pictures as Bixby swims with the other marine mammals in the aquarium's 211,000-gallon seal and sea lion habitat.
