Motorist killed in Inglewood collision on La Cienega

A motorist died early Sunday from injuries sustained in a traffic collision on La Cienega Boulevard in Inglewood, police said.

The unidentified driver sustained major trauma after his convertible hit another car shortly after 1:45 a.m. at La Cienega and Glenway Drive, Inglewood Police Lt. Neal Cochran said.

The victim, whose name and age were not immediately released, was pronounced dead at a hospital. The occupants of the other car sustained minor injuries, Cochran said.
