Firefighters were battling a 150-acre wildfire in rural northern Los Angeles County on Saturday afternoon, but no structures were threatened, authorities said.

The fire was reported just before noon on the northwestern edge of the Angeles National Forest,  near Gorman, said Rachel Mailo, a spokeswoman for the forest.

Six crews, five helicopters and two fixed-wing aircraft were helping battle the fire.
