Falling in Reverse lead singer arrested in assault on girlfriend
Ronald Radke, the lead singer of the rock band Falling In Reverse, was arrested this week at his home in Glendale on an outstanding warrant for alleged domestic assault.
The Los Angeles County district attorney's office issued the warrant after Radke's girlfriend told Glendale police that he had physically assaulted her at their home on May 1, Sgt. Tom Lorenz said.
Radke, 28, was arrested Monday without incident and was later released on $30,000 bail, officials said.
He is charged with a misdemeanor count of corporal injury and misdemeanor count of false imprisonment, according to a Los Angeles County Superior Court criminal complaint.
The former frontman for Escape the Fate, Radke was sentenced to five years' probation on battery charges stemming from his role in the shooting death of an 18-year-old man in Nevada in 2006. Radke wasn't the shooter in that case, but he spent 2 1/2 years in Nevada state prison when his probation was revoked for missing an appointment with a parole officer in 2008, officials said.
Since then, his career had been on somewhat of an upswing with Falling in Reverse after securing a spot on the Warped Tour and releasing the band's first album, “The Drug In Me Is You.”
