Probe of baby formula theft ring leads to woman's arrest

An investigation into a crime ring that stole baby formula from stores in Los Angeles County has led to a 25-year-old woman's arrest, authorities said.

Tiffanie Seniguar of Palmdale is suspected of participating in a crime ring stealing Enfamil baby formula, the Sheriff’s Department said.

Stores in Burbank, Glendale, the Santa Clarita Valley, Lancaster and Palmdale have been victims of this crime ring, sheriff's Lt. Cory Kennedy said in a statement released Saturday.

Seniguar was identified as a suspect by sheriff's detectives based on video footage that came from multiple stores, the Sheriff's Department said. She was arrested Thursday.

"During her interrogation, she admitted to being involved in multiple incidents," the statement said.

Authorities are trying to determine what the crime ring was doing with the stolen baby formula.
