A 6-year-old girl was killed and three other people were in critical condition after two vehicles collided early Wednesday in Hollywood, fire officials said.

A 2-year-old girl, a 25-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were critically injured in the 7:23 a.m. accident in the 800 block of North Highland Avenue, fire officials said.

Although early reports were sketchy, firefighters noted the accident also involved a utility pole, said Erik Scott, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department. No other details were immediately available.
