Two dead, one wounded after shooting in San Diego

Two men were killed and a third critically wounded in a shooting Saturday night in the City Heights neighborhood, San Diego police said Sunday.

The three victims were standing outside an apartment about 11 p.m. when three other men approached them and opened fire, police said.

Rickquese McCoy, 18, and Stephen McClendon, 34, were killed. The third victim underwent surgery and remains in critical condition, police said.

Police Lt. Kevin Rooney said there is no known motive.
