South Gate shooting leaves one man dead, one critically injured
One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting in South Gate on Sunday evening.
The shooting was reported at 7:45 p.m. in the 10500 block of Dorothy Avenue, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Tony Moore said in a news release.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to help South Gate police officers investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting, Moore said.
One man, whose name was not released, died at the scene. Another man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
