Search continues for gunman in fatal Carson shooting

Authorities are searching for the gunman responsible for fatally shooting a man in Carson early Sunday, a sheriff's officials said.

The shooting occurred in the 20000 block of Pricetown Avenue around 4:45 a.m., said Lt. Matthew Burson, of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

A neighbor heard the shot, ran outside and found the unidentified victim lying face-down on the driveway as a light-colored sedan pulled away, Burson said.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Sheriff’s homicide detectives ask anyone with information regarding the shooting to call (323) 890-5500.
